Yes. Your complete purchase price will be 100% refunded, even shipping and handling charges.
How do I get my information on my Heart/ Globe? Is it difficult?
It's very simple. Just plug your Heart/ Globe into a USB port on your computer and follow the simple on-screen instructions.
How do EMT's and doctors know that I carry a Heart/ Globe?
If you’re unconscious, the first place medical personnel look for Identification is your purse or wallet. That's why with each Heart/ Globe, you receive a wallet ID card. This lets EMTs know where they can locate your Heart/ Globe.
How will EMT's access my health information if I am incapacitated and can't enter my password?
When your Heart/ Globe is plugged into any PC, your Emergency Medical Information page will automatically pop up, no password is necessary.
Is my Doctor responsible for uploading my medical information?
You are in control. Just follow the easy on screen instructions on how to enter your medications, allergy information, medical conditions, etc.
What if I don’t have a computer?
You can use any computer - friend, relative, library, even Kinko's; to enter your health information onto your device.
How many people's health information can I store on the Heart/ Globe?
You can store your entire families' health information on the Heart/ Globe.
What happens if I lose my Heart/ Globe?
Not to worry, all your personal information is password protected and encrypted.*
What does 'password protected and encrypted' mean?
When your data is encrypted, it is converted into un-readable code, until your password is entered to decrypt the data.
How do I get my documents on the Heart/ Globe?
You will receive a manual with your Heart/ Globe with easy to follow document installation instructions.
Can I print out the Emergency Medical Information page or my complete Personal Health Record?
Yes, just click on the print icon when viewing your Emergency Medical Information page or Personal Health Record page.
Is there a monthly monitoring fee?
No.
Will my Heart/ Globe work if I don't have the Very Special Heart Service?
Yes.
Do I have to pay for software updates?
No.
How is the Heart/ Globe different from other medical ID devices?
No other medical ID device combines a beautiful accessory with a functional USB device, proprietary software, and space for emergency medication.
Am I able to back up my information?
Yes, you can backup your information locally or online.
Is there an extra charge for a purse/keychain?
No, every Heart comes with a purse/keychain in the box at no additional charge.
Does it work on a MAC?
We are in the final stages of our MAC version, which will be available soon.
Do I have to carry a USB cable or CD with me?
No, your Heart/ Globe is completely self contained (software is on the device) and can be plugged into any PC, anywhere in the world.
Do I need the internet to access my health information?
No. Even in the most catastrophic situation (earthquake, fires, hurricanes, etc), as long as hospitals have generators and computers - your health information is immediately available. No Internet required.
When traveling, will it work on PC's in other countries?
Yes, it will work on any PC, anywhere in the world.
When traveling, will my health information translate to other languages?
Yes, your Emergency Medical Information page is easily translated into other languages, just click on the language icons on the top right of the Emergency Medical Information page.
What is the finish on the Heart/ Globe?
The Silver Heart and Globes are plated with Rhodium, the Gold Heart is plated with 18k Gold.
Are the Heart/ Globe waterproof?
The Heart/ Globe are water resistant to splashes and rain, otherwise treat them as you would any electronic device.
How often should I update my Heart/ Globe?
Update your Heart/ Globe as often as possible, even periodically logging into your Heart/ Globe to review the information.
Does it work with Windows 7?
Yes.
